For our location in San Gwann (Malta), we are looking for a motivated Product Owner (m/f/d) for 40 hours/week to start immediately or as soon as possible.

Job Responsibility

  • Part of a multi-national product management team and help build products in our backup and GRC suite, as well as internal tools
  • Responsible for collaborating closely with product managers to understand the product scope and objectives
  • Conduit of information and act as the interface between the product management team and the Product Development Centre (PDC) teams
  • Responsible for defining how to reach designated business and product objectives by writing detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Ideate, visualize, and create wireframes
  • Define the features needed to reach objectives in close collaboration with product managers and PDC team leads, in line with the product strategy
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create delightful user experiences and obtain detailed product mockups
  • Responsible for the assigned product backlog and for tracking feature requests
  • Perform user acceptance testing and review developed features based on defined acceptance criteria to reach and accept product shipping criteria
  • Support the product development team as necessary to reach the desired goals

Requirements

  • Experienced as a Product Owner for B2B or B2C software
  • Multiple years of experience in technical support, service desk, software development, or significant knowledge and passion for product and technology
  • Degree in computer science, completed education, or comparable technical knowledge
  • Passionate about product design, product lifecycle, and user experience
  • Avid problem solver and quick on your feet, able to break down complex problems and tackle them logically
  • Highly organized and structured, self-driven, and provide proactive updates
  • Can justify and present technical and functional decisions, discuss with developers on equal footing, and show creativity when developing new solutions
  • Self-motivated, a great team player, and can also take responsibility and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Quick learner and eager to explore new technologies and ideas
  • Proficient in document structuring, can work under pressure on concurrent projects, and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Two or more years of experience working with SaaS products
  • Experience with the Gherkin syntax
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
