Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead delivery within an AI-native POD engagement for a technology client in the restaurant and hospitality sector. This is a fully embedded, client-facing role based on-site in Plano, TX. The PO will own the full product delivery cycle within the POD — from outcome definition through sprint execution — and will serve as the primary interface between ISHIR's delivery team and the client's senior stakeholders and SMEs.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate client business outcomes and KPIs into a structured, prioritised backlog with clear acceptance criteria
  • Lead sprint ceremonies — planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives — with minimal oversight
  • Work directly with client SMEs to gather domain context, validate priorities, and communicate progress at a senior level
  • Ensure every sprint delivers shippable, production-ready output — not prototypes or work-in-progress
  • Document and transfer AI-native delivery practices to the client organisation as part of the engagement mandate

Requirements

  • 6+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a software product company — not purely a services or project management background
  • Demonstrated ability to own a backlog end-to-end without BA support
  • Strong client-facing presence — comfortable presenting to and aligning with senior technology and business stakeholders
  • Experience working in fast-paced, iterative agile environments with two-week sprint cadences
  • Active use of AI-assisted planning and documentation tools — Notion AI, Linear AI, or equivalent
  • Comfortable using AI for story generation, acceptance criteria drafting, and sprint documentation as a standard workflow, not an experiment

Nice to have

  • Domain experience in restaurant technology, hospitality, payments, or retail
  • Familiarity with Jira, Linear for backlog and sprint management
  • Exposure to agentic or AI product delivery — understanding what it means to build with and around AI systems
