We’re a global team of over 400 people, working together to push the boundaries of open-source technology and multi-cloud solutions. Our vision is to help developers, builders, and creators bring their ideas to life with speed and simplicity, by providing a cloud data platform that makes open-source databases, search, streaming, and application infrastructure easily accessible to everyone. Product Delivery Operations at Aiven is building operational excellence across a fast-growing, cross-functional organization. As a Product Operations Specialist, you'll be the connective tissue between domain leaders, engineering, and product management teams — removing friction, designing process from zero to one, and making our teams faster and more predictable. What makes this role different today: we're not looking for someone who uses AI occasionally. We're looking for someone who defaults to AI — someone who sees automation, agents, and AI-assisted workflows as the natural starting point when solving operational problems. At the same time, the foundation of this role is operational discipline. AI without solid process thinking creates faster chaos. You'll need both.
Job Responsibility:
Own and drive the Product Delivery Lifecycle
design and automate operational workflows using AI tooling
support business and metrics review cadences
fix broken operational workflows
maintain and evolve our operational playbooks
introduce and enable minimum viable process
drive change management and enablement
support cost capitalization processes
evaluate and configure tooling
Requirements:
Proven experience building process from zero to one
AI-first operator — you actively use AI tools in your day-to-day work and have built or contributed to AI-assisted workflows, automations, or agents
Strong communication and stakeholder management
change management experience
solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and how product organizations operate
comfortable in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
Nice to have:
Background in a SaaS company (B2B or B2C)
hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Make) or building lightweight AI agents
familiarity with Jira, Notion, Linear or similar tools
experience with prompt engineering or structuring AI-assisted processes at team or org level

Participate in Aiven’s equity plan
balance work and life with our hybrid work policy
choose the equipment you need
use your Professional Development Plan budget for learning opportunities
receive holistic wellbeing support through our global Employee Assistance Program
