Job Description

We're looking for a Product Operations Manager to join our Product team. At Anaconda, the Product team is responsible for getting the right capabilities into the hands of the millions of data scientists, developers, and enterprises who depend on our platform to build with Python and open source. We navigate complex tradeoffs, work in the open, and hold each other accountable to outcomes that matter. As part of the Product team, this role is the operational engine that keeps products moving from idea through Alpha, Beta, and into market. You'll own the workflows, tools, and coordination systems that give product managers and engineers the clarity they need to execute without constant hand-holding. You'll partner closely with Jackie's team to build reliable rhythms and drive work forward across competing priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Guide products through the full development lifecycle -- keeping stakeholders aligned on stage gates, decision points, and handoffs throughout
  • Build and maintain tools such as JIRA, Monday.com, Canny, DX, and Confluence workflows that surface actionable operational metrics, enabling informed prioritization decisions across product and leadership teams
  • Leverage Claude and other AI tools to create automations that reduce manual overhead -- turning hours of work into minutes and freeing the Product & Engineering teams to focus on higher-impact problems
  • Capture and maintain meeting notes, action items, and decision logs using Zoom AI and related tools, ensuring the team has reliable context for every initiative in flight
  • Identify and implement process improvements throughout the product development lifecycle, including automating repetitive workflows and standardizing documentation that scales across the organization
  • Navigating cross-functional relationships with product managers and engineers, building the trust needed to keep work moving
  • Escalate risks and blockers to leadership with clear context and recommended options -- prioritizing what's right for the organization

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or a related operational role with a demonstrated track record of driving execution across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Monday.com, and Confluence, including demonstrated ability to configure workflows, build dashboards, and train others on consistent tool use
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude for operational efficiency, including automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction and deliver without constant supervision, including initiating new work independently and following through to completion
  • Experience taking effective meeting notes, tracking action items, and maintaining accurate records across concurrent initiatives

Nice to have

  • Experience operationalizing product development processes in a fully remote environment, including building context-switching discipline and asynchronous coordination habits across distributed teams
  • Familiarity with Pragmatic Institute frameworks and experience applying product maturity models to guide lifecycle decisions
  • Experience in an open-source, AI, or data science-oriented company where technical fluency supports stronger partnerships with engineering and product teams
  • You embody our values: 'Curious by Default', 'Build Together', 'Own It', and 'Lead with Guts and Heart', and our behaviors: Clarity, Care and Candor
  • You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish

What we offer

  • Flexible Vacation Policy
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Short Term and Long Term Disability
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Monthly Wellness Stipend
  • Employee Assistance Program and Mental Health Resources
  • Annual bonus potential
  • Equity participation
