Reporting to the Product & Marketing Manager for Spain & Portugal, your mission is to define the company's product roadmap for both Spain and Portugal, supporting product commercialization, defining launch materials, managing and supporting existing product lines, and helping sales drive revenue. You will be responsible for transforming technical issues and data into effective marketing and sales messages.
Job Responsibility:
Develop the product strategy.
Identify product needs and develop new business opportunities, as well as prepare feasibility studies.
Make decisions regarding the company's product roadmap.
Conduct competitive benchmarking.
Understand regulations related to product marketing and installation.
Participate in activities related to Manufacturers' Associations.
Determine pricing and develop a market positioning map.
Manage and control new product launches from all angles (develop and implement the Go-To-Market strategy).
Monitor product performance in the market: sales, product mix, etc., necessary for decision-making.
Develop sales scripts and provide sales/technical product training to internal staff, the sales network, and the customer network.
Define the documentation and content for catalogs and price lists: technical specifications, value proposition, dimensions, etc.
Coordination with other departments for the implementation of promotions, making sales forecasts, managing product obsolescence, defining services associated with the product (warranties, maintenance)
Requirements:
Formal education equivalent to a degree in Business Administration and Finance with a specialization in Marketing, or a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in similar positions in the B2B sector, preferably professional distribution
Focused on business development and results-oriented work
Determined and independent to implement action plans
Ability to adapt to different types of interlocutors (excellent communication skills)
Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in Spanish at an independent user level is essential
Intermediate level of English is essential (minimum B2 level)
Willingness to travel (primarily domestic, occasionally to Europe)
