Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager for Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) is responsible for defining and driving OnePlan’s positioning, messaging, competitive strategy, and analyst presence within the SPM and enterprise planning market. This is a strategic role that shapes how OnePlan is understood by enterprise buyers, analysts, and the broader market. You will serve as the bridge between Product, Sales, and Marketing, translating product innovation into clear, compelling narratives that drive pipeline growth and strengthen market leadership.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and evolve OnePlan’s positioning within the SPM and enterprise planning space
  • Translate product capabilities, including AI-driven innovation, into clear, differentiated value for enterprise buyers
  • Develop messaging that resonates across key stakeholders including CIOs, PMO leaders, and executive teams
  • Ensure consistency of product narrative across website, campaigns, sales materials, and analyst communication
  • Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy for product launches and major enhancements
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to align on priorities and drive coordinated execution
  • Support enterprise sales with strong narratives, deal positioning, and tailored messaging for complex cycles
  • Act as the connective layer between Product Management, Marketing, and Sales
  • Equip Sales with clear positioning, competitive context, and objection-handling frameworks
  • Contribute to demand generation, content, and thought leadership with a strong product and market lens
  • Own competitive intelligence across the SPM and enterprise planning landscape, including battlecards and win/loss insights
  • Monitor market trends and competitor positioning to inform strategy and messaging
  • Build and manage relationships with key analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and others), including briefings and research participation
  • Leverage analyst insights to continuously refine positioning and go-to-market approach
  • Gather insights from customers, analysts, and sales to understand market needs and buying behavior
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Product and Marketing
  • Help ensure strong alignment between product direction and real market demand

Requirements

  • Domain expertise in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or enterprise planning platforms
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing or related roles within B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • Experience positioning complex solutions to enterprise, multi-stakeholder buyers
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level messaging

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with leading platforms and trends within the SPM ecosystem
  • Experience with analyst relations and industry evaluations
  • Exposure to AI-driven enterprise solutions and modern SaaS platforms

  • Collaborate with R&D, Advanced Manufacturing, new Product Introduction teams, global Sales, and customers to translate market and customer needs into innovative Laser coding solution sets while articulating meaningful value propositions
  • Promote the Laser product line by frequent communication with the Sales force and through generation of useful tools
  • Perform Business Development activities in support of present and future customers and underserved markets, including by considering and prioritizing customization requests
