Job Description:

Cash App is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead how our core peer-to-peer products are positioned, launched, and scale; shaping how millions of customers send, receive, and manage their money every day across Cash App. This is a full-stack product marketing role, spanning strategy, storytelling and go-to market execution. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Growth, Data, and Creative to influence what we build and how we take it to market. You'll own end-to-end product marketing for core P2P initiatives (ranging from refining and scaling existing experiences to introducing and launching new products to drive growth and engagement). You'll operate with significant autonomy and help raise the bar for product marketing craft across Cash App.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own positioning and messaging for core peer-to-peer products, grounded in customer insights and differentiated in the market
  • Partner with Product and Design to influence roadmap and feature development, shaping value propositions early in the product lifecycle
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for launches and major iterations, including audience definition, narrative development, channel strategy, and measurement
  • Drive adoption and engagement, partnering with Growth, Lifecycle, and Cross-functional marketing teams to move customers from first use to habitual usage
  • Partner with Customer Insights and Data Analytics to define success metrics, design experiments, and evaluate performance
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling stories that align cross-functional teams and resonate with customers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in product marketing, ideally within consumer products, fintech, or network-effect businesses
  • Proven experience in owning end-to-end product marketing, from early strategy and positioning, through launch and long-term retention
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Design, Growth and Analytics to influence decisions
  • A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to translate customer insights and quantitative data into compelling narratives and go-to-market strategy
  • Demonstrated comfort with measurement and experimentation, including defining success metrics, developing measurements plans in partnership with analytics and research teams, evaluating performance and applying insights to to improve outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of simplifying complex ideas for broad audiences
  • A strategic mindset paired with operational rigor. You are able to move from strategy to execution seamlessly
