Job Description

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Product Marketing Manager to lead Product Marketing for Financial Services solutions for Merchants and Earners. In this role, you'll define and scale the global marketing strategy that helps merchants access fast, flexible financing and tools that support healthy cash flow and operational stability. This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Regional Teams, Data Science, and Customer Support. You will translate new financial product innovations into clear, value-driven themes and create a continuous drumbeat of education, adoption, and engagement programs—helping merchants better understand, trust, and use Uber’s growing suite of Financial Services. This is a unique opportunity to shape how hundreds of thousands of merchants globally manage cash flow, access capital, and move money with Uber.

  • Build internal programs that translate financial product innovations into clear, differentiated value for merchants across all markets
  • Develop value-driven messaging frameworks that convert complex financial features into simple, trusted solutions for merchants
  • Create scalable narratives and campaign themes that explain eligibility, qualifications, repayment mechanics, and benefits without adding friction
  • Ensure financial services fit seamlessly into the broader merchant platform story
  • Create a continuous engagement drumbeat—including lifecycle education, evergreen content, and new-feature rollouts to increase awareness and adoption of merchant financial tools
  • Drive improvements in product discoverability, onboarding, and repeat usage
  • Partner with regional operations and commercial teams to tailor financial product messaging and campaigns for local contexts, while maintaining global consistency
  • Build structured feedback loops with regional partners to identify awareness gaps, launch challenges, and opportunities to sharpen the value narrative across markets
  • Collaborate with research, data science, and risk teams to shape the learning agenda for Financial Services
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights—such as merchant and earner awareness levels, application funnels, qualification drop-off, and usage trends—to refine messaging, improve product positioning, and guide the roadmap for future financial offerings

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience delivering highly successful engagement and acquisition strategies for businesses
  • 4+ years specifically in product marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in fintech B2B Product Marketing
