Job Responsibility:
Plans and executes marketing campaigns for professional development offerings, including in-person and virtual events, Specialty Practice Sections, continuing education, training partnerships, credentials, career resources, and other publications, and related programs
Works with subject matter experts to develop, write, edit, and produce promotional and educational content across channels, including email, website, social media, digital publications, presentations, graphics, videos, testimonials, and event materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand standards
Leads the execution of conference and event marketing initiatives, including pre-event promotion, attendee communications, and member engagement activities within the mobile app
Provides on-site marketing and registration support for conferences and educational events, contributing to a positive and seamless attendee experience
Supports member engagement activities during conferences, contributing to increased participation, satisfaction, and overall event success
Serves as the primary marketing liaison for professional development vendors, including education partners, mobile app providers, Career Center partners, and other external service providers
Coordinates with vendors and internal teams to support platform functionality, content updates, timelines, and user experience improvements
Assists state chapters with onboarding and use of marketing partner platforms by providing guidance, tools, and best practices to support consistency and effectiveness
Contributes to revenue-generating initiatives through market research, customer insights, and analysis of member and customer engagement data
Adapts to changing priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to collect, analyze, and report on marketing performance data to assess effectiveness, inform improvements, and support departmental goals
Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with minimal day-to-day supervision
Excellent writing and creative storytelling ability
Ability to work productively on cross-functional teams
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Five years of progressively responsible experience as a marketing associate, marketing assistant or related position
Demonstrated experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social, and email marketing
Must have experience with marketing strategies, communication techniques, and content development
Proficiency with marketing technology tools and platforms required
Experience with SEO/SEM and paid digital or social campaigns is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, statistics or a related field preferred
Knowledge of marketing principles, content development, digital communications, and basic market research and data analysis required
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Informz or similar systems) strongly preferred
