Product Manager – Mission-Critical Communications (Devices / SaaS / Hardware). Location: Just north of Cambridge, UK. Salary: Up to £80,000, dependent on experience. Fully On-Site (5 days/week in the office). We’re working with a highly respected, global technology business operating at the forefront of mission-critical communications, building products that quite literally cannot fail. They’re now hiring an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of a complex, high-impact product portfolio spanning devices, accessories, software and SaaS platforms. This is not a role for someone early in their PM career. It’s for someone who has genuinely owned products end-to-end and thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments.
Job Responsibility:
Owning product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle (end-to-end)
Defining and prioritising features based on customer needs and market insight
Building business cases, managing budgets and owning product performance (P&L mindset)
Working closely with engineering teams to delivery high-reliability products
Collaborating with sales and marketing to bring products to market successfully
Engaging directly with customers, partners and industry stakeholders
Representing the product at events, conferences and externally
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Manager with credible ownership of products
Background in B2B and technical products
Experience across hardware, devices or SaaS
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Able to take ownership, make decisions and be accountable
Nice to have:
Experience with RF/Communications/Mobile Technologies (LTE, 4G/5G, Android)
Background in regulated or high-reliability sectors (eg medical devices, public safety, critical systems)
