The Product Manager is accountable for the overall performance of Ariston Group’s product portfolio. This role oversees and coordinates activities across Engineering, Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and the marketplace to drive optimal economic value (EVA) for both new and existing products. As a management position, the Product Manager is also responsible for supporting the sales organization by providing effective marketing tools and resources to maximize product adoption and sales performance.
Job Responsibility
Recommends and establishes pricing structures, policies, and discount programs based on cost analysis and competitive market conditions
Identifies new product opportunities and recommends product enhancements or modifications based on marketing research and analysis of customer needs and preferences
Develops and maintains marketing tools and materials including sales and technical literature, advertising, videos, competitive comparison spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to support product promotion
Provides education and training to field sales teams on new and existing products
Researches and identifies potential markets for new and existing product lines
Conducts field and trade show visits to monitor competitive activity and industry trends
Designs and administers surveys to support research into new concepts and existing product improvements
Prepares and provides individual product sales forecasts
Analyzes market performance for Ariston Group products and recommends product additions, discontinuations, modifications, sales promotions, and improvements to marketing literature
Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills
Assists in determining applicable regulatory requirements by product category and target market
Maintains accurate records and prepares reports to track market and area activity
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Requirements
associate’s degree
Minimum two years experience in water heaters and boilers industry
Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Proficient computer skills using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience in HVAC, hydronic heating or water heating products preferred
Nice to have
Experience in HVAC, hydronic heating or water heating products
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
