Matera is a French proptech founded in 2017. We simplify property management — mainly co-ownership, rental management and transactions. In France, we have become a reference player with a tech-first approach that combines SaaS and services. We are ~400 people, profitable, and continue to grow quickly. We launched in Germany in 2022 with the ambition to replicate what we built in France. The German team is based in Berlin and is growing rapidly. We are looking for a Product Manager based in Berlin to take charge of the German product of Matera and bring it to the level of the French product. Concretely, this means identifying the current gaps in the German product, prioritizing the right topics, and driving an ambitious roadmap by working hand in hand with the German business teams (managers, accountants, care, ops) and the Tech & Product team (mostly based in Paris). You will be our product anchor on the German market. You report to Pierre (VP Product) and collaborate daily with Moritz (Country Manager Germany).

Job Responsibility

  • Define the vision of the German product and the resulting strategy
  • Build the roadmap and align all stakeholders on it
  • Deliver roadmap topics in close collaboration with tech, design, Gen AI teams and ops when necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date PRDs that clearly explain why a topic is prioritized, the current situation and the intended impact on KPIs
  • Manage releases, communication, documentation and alignment with business teams
  • Track the impact of what is released, communicate on it and iterate

Requirements

  • You speak fluent French and German (German is essential for working with local teams and clients)
  • You are based in Berlin and want to be present in the office to be in contact with the teams
  • A first experience in product, ideally in a start-up environment like Matera
  • You have the reflex to use AI in your PM job as a thinking partner, to automate low-value-added tasks and quickly prototype to test your ideas
  • You like fast-moving environments
  • You have demonstrated good velocity on your previous projects — you move things forward and are completely owner of your subjects
