Job Description:

Rimes is seeking an experienced Product Manager to help deliver on the strategic product roadmap for our Investment Management Platform, designed specifically for institutional investors, asset managers and service providers to service both their investment data management and exposure & FX management needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage product engineering team based in Sydney, including organising regular team stand-ups, providing team mentoring and operational oversight
  • Deliver on strategic product roadmap in collaboration with wider global Rimes technology teams
  • Assist in Product Release Cycle Management (typically quarterly) ensuring that sufficient testing is conducted and that release notes and documentation are accurate
  • Analyse, triage and prioritise JIRA tickets allocated to the team
  • Work with the Rimes Professional & Managed Services teams to ensure that their product requirements are heard, recorded, prioritised and considered
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure teams to ensure that the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines are maintained
  • Lead quarterly client webinars to showcase new product features, enhancements and best practices
  • Host structured client requirement-gathering workshops
  • Present the Rimes global product roadmap to clients and prospects
  • Stay abreast of industry, regulatory and technology trends in investment data, exposure management and FX processes
  • Establish and maintain regular feedback loops with clients, users and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management and Client Success teams to support pre-sales activities, assist with RFP responses

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of core programming languages and tooling, including C#, SQL, and Python
  • Familiarity with cloud-native solutions and DevOps
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in Azure Databricks, Snowflake and AI tooling & technologies highly desirable
  • Ideally holds recognised project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master (CSM/PSM)
  • Proven track record in Product Management or a related role within financial markets or superannuation
  • Strong understanding of Fund of Fund structures, exposure management, asset allocation, risk frameworks, and FX hedging processes
  • Demonstrated ability in presenting complex concepts to senior external stakeholders and clients
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical groups
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products in an agile environment
  • Applicants must hold an eligible Australian work visa or have permanent work rights in Australia

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Azure Databricks, Snowflake and AI tooling & technologies highly desirable
  • Ideally holds recognised project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master (CSM/PSM)
