To manage all aspects of the Home Therapies product portfolio—primarily Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Home Haemodialysis (HHD)—ensuring the achievement of marketing and commercial objectives. This role acts as the key interface between marketing, sales, clinical, operations, and global teams, and is responsible for product strategy, launches, lifecycle management, market development, and stakeholder engagement. The Product Manager also plays a key role in driving patient-centric innovation and supporting Fresenius Medical Care’s commitment to quality care in the home. While this role is primarily focused on leading the Home Therapies, the candidate will also be expected to contribute to broader country-level marketing initiatives across other portfolios such as In Centre HD, Seating and Critical Care, as required. This cross-portfolio involvement aims to foster a collaborative, team-based marketing approach. The candidate should be comfortable directing efforts beyond their core area to support integrated campaigns, strategic projects, and organisational priorities on an as-needed basis.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and product roadmaps for the Home Therapies portfolio
Lead the introduction of new products or enhancements, aligning with global strategy and local market requirements
Identify unmet customer needs and propose product development or marketing initiatives in response
Assess market trends, clinical advancements, and competitive intelligence to identify threats and opportunities
Develop and own pricing strategies by leveraging market insights, product value, and ROI modelling
Act as the central liaison between local commercial, clinical, operations, regulatory, and quality functions
Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure alignment of tactical execution with strategic goals
Coordinate product training, field support materials, and internal knowledge sharing to build commercial capability
Support tender preparation, product positioning, and strategic responses in partnership with sales and contracts teams
Partner with logistics and operations teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support product transitions
Engage proactively with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and dialysis care stakeholders to build advocacy and gather insights
Ensure product messaging and strategy reflect the needs and outcomes of both clinical customers and patients
Lead or support clinician and patient education initiatives around product use, benefits, and innovation
Attend and coordinate company presence at trade displays, renal conferences, and industry events
Use analytics and digital tools to measure campaign impact, product interest, and identify market trends
Explore new promotional channels and technologies that can improve outreach and effectiveness
Monitor and report on portfolio sales performance, market share, campaign ROI, and forecast accuracy
Work with sales and operations to maintain an accurate demand forecast and mitigate issues related to backorders or fulfilment
Maintain and update product documentation and portfolio pricing files regularly
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal quality management systems, and the relevant Code of Conduct
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance marketing processes, reporting, and product performance
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Science, Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare industry
Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle, from market research to launch and post-launch optimization through to sunset portfolio management
Demonstrated success in translating clinical insights and complex data into actionable marketing strategies
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Strategic and analytical thinker with professional and positive disposition
Able to foster relationships with cross functional partners
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
Strategic and commercial mindset with a passion for patient outcomes
Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations and proposal development
