As a Product Manager, you will partner with our talented build teams to deliver solutions for scientists who are developing life-saving drugs and therapies. We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the end-to-end product strategy, go-to-market, and execution for Benchling’s small molecule solution, a critical new product line built to be AI native from the ground up. You will define the strategy, roadmap, and lead execution for this critical product area, working cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams to bring new capabilities to life. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of product, science, and AI—ideal for a product leader passionate about accelerating scientific discovery.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner closely with customers and field teams to deeply understand our customer’s scientific workflows, pain points, and market trends
  • Translate domain-specific insights into intuitive, scalable software capabilities with exceptional UX/UI that integrate seamlessly across Benchling’s platform
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality products on time and measure success using clear product KPIs
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, communicating priorities, tradeoffs, and expected business outcomes clearly and persuasively

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software product management experience, preferably with a B2B SaaS product
  • Proven ability to lead and ship complex product initiatives and drive 0→1 product development
  • Bias for action and a history of shipping products quickly and iteratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Knowledge of small molecule R&D or a demonstrated track record of rapidly building domain expertise in a complex, regulated industry
  • Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, fast-moving environments
  • Empathetic collaborator who can bridge the gap between scientists, engineers, and business teams

What we offer

  • Competitive total rewards package
  • Broad range of medical, dental, and vision plans for employees and their dependents
  • Fertility healthcare and family-forming benefits
  • Four months of fully paid parental leave
  • 401(k) + Employer Match
  • Commuter benefits for in-office employees and a generous home office set up stipend for remote employees
  • Mental health benefits, including therapy and coaching, for employees and their dependents
  • Monthly Wellness stipend
  • Learning and development stipend
  • Generous and flexible vacation
  • Company-wide Winter holiday shutdown
  • Sabbaticals for 5-year and 10-year anniversaries
