Product Manager - Private Label & Owned Brands with business acumen to lead the development and commercialization of new products, platforms, and packaging for Private Label & Owned Brands. This role involves driving product strategy, cross-functional partnership, consumer insights, and team leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Translate the Private Brands vision into new products and continuous improvement initiatives
Drive product innovation using consumer insights, market data, and business metrics to identify growth opportunities
Present clear, data-backed product strategies to senior management to secure buy-in and alignment
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, gross profit, and market share
Leverage data analysis tools to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement
Develop and execute product development strategies that align with overarching category goals and deliver measurable business results
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Category Managers, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of product launches
Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization
Collaborate with external partners to optimize sourcing, Products, and production efficiency
Coach and mentor up team members, fostering professional growth and alignment with business objectives
Drive sustainable and cost-effective packaging innovations that align with consumer needs and environmental considerations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required)
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in product development, brand management, or innovation roles within the CPG industry
Experience in Convenience Store channel is desirable
Proven ability to leverage consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to develop successful product strategies
Strong understanding of financial metrics (e.g., sales, gross profit) and business modeling to align product development with company goals
Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power Bi) to assess product performance and market trends
Outstanding communication skills, capable of presenting complex strategies to senior stakeholders effectively
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation in the food and beverage industry
