Job Description:

As a member of the Global Data & Analytics Team, the Product Owner for Data Governance facilitates planning, management and coordination of initiatives supporting our goal to improve quality, usability and accessibility of the data at Circle K. This Product Owner role is primarily responsible for supporting the Global Data Governance team in their delivery of advanced data governance and data management projects that support key business results and creating a global view of those initiatives and how they fit together in the larger Global Data Governance Program.

Job Responsibility:

Generates business value across Circle K by delivering data governance solution with strong focus on quality and data governance
Coordinate & execute activities across business, technical teams, and external vendor partners for Data Governance & Master Data products through the Data Governance tool in alignment with owners of key Data Domains
Provide key inputs to overall data governance product vision, strategy and roadmap and own product delivery for specific Data Governance and Master Data products
Coordinate with Data Domain teams on the translation of product strategy outputs into requirements for product delivery using Jira & Confluence
Ensure on-time delivery of Data Governance tool through oversight of work for business & technology teams that meet the requirements and business objectives
Report product roadmap status, such as resources, technical issues, or customer satisfaction, to managers

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related work experience
Master’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience
4+ years of experience working in Agile Project Management
3+ years of experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and Informatica and / or other Data Analytics / Governance tools
3+ years working experience using CRM tools such as ServiceNow or similar tools
3+ years of experience in Product Management
Ability to embrace Circle K’s “Light of Day” principle

Nice to have:

1+ year(s) experience working with Tibco EBX
1+ year(s) of experience working with Middleware / ESB tools such as Boomi, WebMethods, Axway, etc.
1+ year(s) retail industry experience
Familiarity with Data Engineering tools: FiveTran, Qlik, ADF, etc.
Familiarity with Data Modeling tools experience: dbt, Snowpark, etc.
Familiarity with Data Orchestration tools experience: Airflow, Prefect
