Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Sandy Springs, Georgia. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will lead the strategic development and execution of custom applications and APIs, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive impactful product solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for custom applications and APIs
  • Identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable product initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for development teams
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the Agile product development lifecycle to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Partner with engineering teams to guarantee technical feasibility and adherence to best practices
  • Oversee API lifecycle management, including design, documentation, versioning, and deprecation
  • Ensure APIs meet performance, reliability, and security standards while enhancing developer experience
  • Coordinate testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities for applications and APIs
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, providing regular updates to leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years focused on custom applications and APIs
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, documentation standards (Swagger/OpenAPI), and integration practices
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience in backlog grooming, bug tracking, and API development
  • Familiarity with security standards and scalability guidelines for product design
