You own the product lifecycle plans for Pixelgen's products - from marketing requirements through commercialization. Reporting to the CMO, you connect R&D capabilities with customer needs in research, biomarker discovery and drug development.
Job Responsibility:
Own product strategy and positioning for current and future products, including software and consumables
Map the customer journey to identify friction points, growth levers, and expansion opportunities
Develop customer segmentation and messaging for marketing teams
Define product positioning and value propositions to inform marketing collateral
Own the commercial product narrative—responsible for sales enablement, KOL engagement support, and external representation at conferences and customer events
Define requirements for new features on existing products
Define user workflows from sample to insight
Collaborate with Commercial on global sales forecasts (quarterly and 3-year)
Drive post-launch feedback loops and product iteration
Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) to guide R&D priorities
Conduct market gap analysis and competitive positioning
Gather customer and market insights to inform product strategy
Own Customer Requirements input and kit configurations for new products
Build business cases, ROI models, and cost configurations
Design and manage beta programs for performance validation
Manage product naming, SKU generation, and packaging updates
Own the Commercial product roadmap, balancing near-term priorities with long-term profitability
Develop launch strategies including timing, pricing inputs, and segment prioritization
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Biology, Molecular Biology, or equivalent
5+ years of product management in life sciences bringing new technologies to the market
Business case building and forecast analysis experience
Technical literacy in single-cell data analysis, spatial visualization, and bioinformatics workflows
Travel up to 20%
Nice to have:
Master's or PhD in Biology, Immunology, or Molecular Biology
Experience in hematology, immunotherapy, immuno-oncology, precision medicine, or drug development
