As a Product Manager at NTS Hengelo, you are end-to-end responsible for the performance of a product or product group from release for volume to end-of-life. You represent the voice of the customer within NTS and ensure a sustainable win-win between customer interests and business results. You operate at the intersection of commerce, technology, and operations. You focus on QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology & Cost) and take the lead in improving margin, lead time, and delivery reliability. In addition, you provide functional direction to multidisciplinary QLTC teams and work closely with account management, operations, engineering, and supply chain. In this role, you have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, profitability, and the technological roadmap of the site.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, monitor, and improve the QLTC performance of your product or product group
Responsible for customer satisfaction and profitability of the account together with the account manager
Actively carry out lifecycle management, including business model, sustainability considerations, and EOL decisions
Chair the Change Control Board and manage change control, decision-making, and implementation
Optimize margin, efficiency, and supply chain performance based on data and KPIs
Initiate and monitor spare and repair policies and ensure product history (product backlog)
Provide input for account plans, portfolio management, quotes, calculations, and the technical roadmap of NTS Hengelo
Requirements:
Bachelor's/master's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Business Administration
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a technically complex manufacturing environment
Experience with lifecycle management, performance management (QLTC), and stakeholder management
Strategic and analytical thinking with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
Commercial insight and willingness to make decisions in a dynamic environment
Convincing and professional communication in both Dutch and English
Affinity with machining, assembly, and (mechatronic) modules is a strong advantage
