We are seeking a Product Manager to drive operational efficiency through AI-powered agent experiences that monitor, detect, diagnose, and mitigate issues across Microsoft’s M365 services including the systems that power M365 Copilot. In this role, you will shape the future of Observability and Operational Intelligence, leveraging AI and a distributed network of intelligent agents to transform incident management, reduce operational toil, and improve service reliability at scale.
Job Responsibility:
Define and drive product vision and strategy for AI-powered operational agents
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle
Partner with engineering, data science, and design teams
Develop and prioritize roadmaps for agentic capabilities
Influence cross-functional stakeholders
Measure success through KPIs
Own end‑to‑end feature delivery for medium‑complexity areas
Translate customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear product requirements
Maintain a prioritized backlog
Drive execution across engineering, design, data science, and partner teams
Communicate delays, risks, and blockages
Conduct customer research, analyze telemetry, and synthesize insights
Produce proof of concept (POCs)
Define and track KPIs
Use experimentation to validate hypotheses
Perform evals to ensure quality
Partner closely with engineering
Collaborate with design
Work with marketing, support, and field teams
Communicate plans, progress, and decisions
Understand system architecture, dependencies, and technical constraints
Ensure features meet reliability, performance, security, and compliance requirements
Partner with engineering to drive down tech debt
Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and processes
Contribute to the product vision and multi‑semester roadmap
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities
Build business cases for new investments
Drive alignment across teams
Facilitate discussions, make recommendations, and help the team converge on decisions
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a bias for action
Coordinate launch planning, documentation, and communication
Monitor post‑launch metrics and customer feedback
Iterate quickly to address issues, refine features, and optimize user experience
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
1+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market
