You will play a pivotal role in scaling RealRents’ consumer marketplace, shaping how renters discover apartments while helping property management companies generate high-intent leasing demand. This role sits at the center of a two-sided platform where transparency, trust, and conversion drive real business outcomes. You’ll influence both renter experience and operator success, using data, experimentation, and strong product judgment to improve marketplace health. Your work will directly impact growth, engagement, and revenue across the RealRents ecosystem.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the RealRents B2C marketplace, spanning renter experience and operator lead performance
Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities that improve search, pricing transparency, listing engagement, and qualified lead generation
Define and test clear product hypotheses tied to marketplace KPIs such as traffic, conversion, lead quality, and operator ROI
Develop deep insight into renter behavior across discovery, pricing evaluation, and inquiry flows using qualitative and quantitative research
Partner with sales, marketing, and account teams to understand operator needs while maintaining scalable, product-led solutions
Translate insights from both sides of the marketplace into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality features efficiently and on schedule
Optimize inquiry, contact, and lead submission flows to increase conversion rates and improve downstream leasing outcomes
Drive growth through experimentation across acquisition, activation, retention, and marketplace conversion
Measure, communicate, and iterate on product performance using data-driven insights and clear stakeholder storytelling
Requirements:
5+ years of product management experience, ideally with B2C, consumer SaaS, or marketplace products
Demonstrated curiosity and strong product instincts, with the ability to deeply understand user behavior and underlying problems
Proven resilience and adaptability, thriving in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
Experience working in startup or high-growth environments—and excitement about building during periods of scale
Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using analytics to guide decisions and evaluate outcomes
Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams around clear goals and tradeoffs
Experience building or scaling two-sided marketplaces, lead-generation platforms, or demand-driven products
Familiarity with real estate, multifamily marketing, classifieds, or local search is a plus
Comfort working with modern product tools such as Jira, Miro, Confluence, Pendo, and Figma
