Job Description:

Lead high-impact digital projects for major ministries and corporate clients. Full authority over technical decisions and project execution. Work in a fast-growing, innovative Omani tech startup.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of digital products within 6-week cycles, ensuring full completion of scope
  • Define, plan, and manage project milestones, sprints, and release schedules
  • Translate business and client requirements into clear product specifications
  • Make architecture and technical decisions to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Review code quality, technical documentation, and system design outputs
  • Coordinate development across frontend, backend, QA, design, and DevOps teams
  • Lead deployment activities, go-live preparation, and post-launch monitoring
  • Manage daily standups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
  • Identify blockers early and drive quick resolution across teams
  • Manage remote, distributed teams to ensure productivity and alignment
  • Handle client communication, requirement clarification, and bilingual interface expectations (Arabic & English)
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the CEO and co-founders for strategic updates
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of platforms
  • Conduct risk identification, mitigation, and scope-control activities
  • Prevent feature creep by maintaining strict adherence to the defined scope
  • Validate QA outputs and ensure all features meet Quality Delivery standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years leading technical/software development projects
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex platforms under tight deadlines
  • Strong technical background in full-stack development (React & Spring Boot preferred)
  • Experience managing remote/distributed development teams
  • Proven experience working with e-commerce, procurement, or enterprise platforms
  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Asana, Linear)
  • Experience with budget and resource management
  • Fluent in English with strong Arabic language skills required
  • Full-stack engineering fundamentals (React, Spring Boot)
  • DevOps, deployment pipelines, CI/CD
  • System architecture and scalable design
  • Software QA, testing frameworks, and documentation
  • Risk management and data security understanding
