Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the strategic development of liquidity management solutions
  • develop understanding of Citi’s global Liquidity Management products, regulatory compliance, and market dynamics
  • ensure that any product initiative for LMS deposits solutions adhere to Citi’s Risk and Controls policies, as well as regional regulatory requirements
  • participate in the Product Approval Process including specific processes related to Solutions and Initiatives Risk Review (SIRR/BRR) approval process, Global Anti-Money Laundering, New Product Approval (NPA), New Activity Control (NAC), Independent Compliance Private Impact Assessment (PIA) approval process, Fraud Impact Assessment (FIAT), Product Launch Framework (PLF), Third-Party Management (TPM), and Product Approval Program/Local Country Addenda process (ePAPs system)
  • anticipate processes and demands of second line of defense including gaining velocity on the Product approval process at a regional level
  • perform the end-to-end development of new liquidity management solutions, from initial ideation and feasibility studies through to product launch and market rollout
  • participate in the operational readiness and implementation of LMS products, ensuring they meet both global and regional standards
  • collaborate closely with global and regional teams to align product strategies with broader organizational goals
  • work closely with cross-functional teams across different geographies, ensuring the seamless execution of product initiatives and the alignment of regional and global objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation assessing structured deposit portfolios within the financial services industry
  • optimizing global Liquidity Management products including Interest-Bearing Demand Deposits Accounts (IBDDA), and Earnings Credit Rate (ECR)
  • assessing the full lifecycle of product development, including ideation, feasibility analysis, operational readiness, and appropriate product approval for rolling out new solutions
  • navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring compliance with bank risk and controls policies, and financial landscape
  • assessing structured deposits portfolios to help contribute to an organization's financial goals
  • participating in new products and solutions approval process involving cross-functional negotiation with areas including Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Sanctions and Finance to secure proper approval, including navigating through the New Activity Approval Process, Anti-Money Laundering New Product Assessment, Fraud Impact Assessment and overall Product approval process
  • assessing market trends and competitive positioning enabling the development of innovative product strategies that enhance market share and profitability
  • 40 hrs./wk
  • 30% international travel required
