Job Description:

As the Product Owner for the Video Platform & Player, your primary mission is to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Viously’s video platform. From client video ingestion to hosting and catalog distribution, and player optimization, your work will directly empower Viously's VP to focus on strategic technical advancements by taking ownership of operational and project management tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement processes for seamless ingestion of client video streams
Optimize hosting solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
Ensure robust catalog management for easy access, organization, and delivery of content
Collaborate with the development team to enhance the video player’s features and performance
Address compatibility issues across various devices and platforms
Drive A/B testing and analytics integration to refine user experience
Define project milestones, manage timelines, and oversee execution with Agile methodologies
Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional teams, aligning efforts between developers, QA, and stakeholders
Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, ensuring knowledge sharing and alignment
Collaborate closely with Viously’s VP to transform technical vision into actionable plans
Take charge of routine project updates, risk assessments, and issue escalation

Requirements:

Proven experience in product or project management, ideally within video or streaming technologies
Familiarity with video ingestion workflows, hosting, and playback systems
Intermediate-level expertise in managing technical teams and cross-functional projects
Strong communication and organizational skills to balance multiple priorities effectively
Analytical mindset with an interest in improving processes and user experiences
