Job Description

HPE is seeking a Product Manager Staff to join our team working on the Apstra product. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the development and success of our industry-leading intent-based networking solution powered by AI. As a Product Manager Staff for Apstra, you will be responsible for shaping the product strategy, roadmap, and feature development of our multivendor, intent-based networking software. You will work closely with engineering, sales, and customer teams to ensure Apstra continues to meet the evolving needs of data center operators and cloud service providers.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for Apstra, aligning with overall company goals and market demands
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and prioritize new features and enhancements
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions
  • Create detailed product requirements and specifications for new features and capabilities
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
  • Engage with customers and partners to understand their needs and communicate Apstra's value proposition
  • Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, including pricing and packaging decisions
  • Present product updates and roadmaps to internal stakeholders and external customers

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in product management or related field, with a focus on networking or data center technologies
  • Understanding of data center networking architectures, protocols, and trends
  • Experience with intent-based networking, automation, and multivendor environments
  • Experience with data analytics and dashboards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various audiences
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and growing enterprise software products
  • Experience with development methodologies and product management tools
