We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Security at Lovable, end-to-end, from conception through rollout. You'll make sure the millions of apps built on Lovable are safe, trustworthy, and secure by default, turning security from a checkbox into a genuine product differentiator.
Job Responsibility:
Represent the user. Bring findings on security posture, threat models, and trust signals to the team with clarity and conviction
Run discovery end-to-end: user interviews, competitive research, data analysis, and crafting security messaging that resonates with both technical and non-technical users
Shape how security surfaces across the product, spanning AI output review, permissions, publishing safeguards, and vulnerability detection
Scope ruthlessly. Ship the right slice of functionality, validate what works through user feedback and metrics, and cut what doesn't
Enable sales, support, and marketing with the context they need to speak credibly about security, especially for enterprise buyers where it's a dealbreaker
Projects you'll tackle first: Mapping the current threat surface across Lovable-generated apps and defining the biggest gaps
owning the first iteration of secure-by-default publishing safeguards
building the internal framework for how security features get scoped, prioritized, and communicated across the company
Requirements:
6+ years in the software industry, with exposure to security, trust & safety, or platform integrity in a product management or engineering leadership role
Familiarity with the security challenges unique to AI-generated software, including code vulnerabilities, prompt injection, and unsafe defaults, and how to build secure-by-default experiences users don't have to think about
Technical fluency: you program or have programmed, and can engage credibly with engineers on threat models, vulnerabilities, and platform architecture
Strong product sense and systems thinking. You know how to translate security constraints into good user experiences rather than friction, and you have sharp opinions on when security should be invisible vs. unmistakable
Nice to have:
Prior experience working on platform security or trust & safety at scale
familiarity with enterprise security requirements and how they influence product decisions
