Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Rides Safety team - someone passionate about building trust and reducing risk, who will own the safety product direction and work closely with designers, engineers, and data partners to deliver impactful safety solutions for drivers and riders. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing the product strategy to deliver exceptional safety and security value to both our drivers and riders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and own the long-term safety product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and user safety needs
  • Lead continuous discovery and analysis of safety risks, user behaviours, and market trends to inform product decisions and strengthen platform safety
  • Drive cross-functional delivery of safety features by collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, Legal, Public Policy, and Data teams from concept to launch
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to prioritise safety initiatives, set measurable success metrics, and guide key trade-off decisions across the portfolio
  • Optimise global safety solutions by tailoring configurations for local market needs while maintaining centralised standards, governance, and scalability
  • Monitor and improve safety feature performance post-launch, creating clear documentation and driving ongoing enhancements to minimise risk and elevate user trust

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in product development or a related field, ideally within tech or mobility
  • Comfortable building products in fast-paced, agile environments
  • Strong analytical depth, using data, risk metrics, and user insights to drive decisions
  • Clear and confident communication, guiding cross-functional teams and navigating sensitive or high-pressure situations
  • Proficient with modern product and data tools (JIRA, Confluence, ProductBoard, SQL, Excel, Tableau)
  • Passionate about mobility and user safety, with a solid understanding of driver and rider needs and the broader risk landscape
  • Organised, detail-driven, and proactive, able to balance multiple priorities while steadily pushing forward on complex safety challenges
