iCapital is seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President to join its Independent Advisor Solutions team. The Independent Advisor Solutions group has launched five 1940 Act registered funds and continues to expand its investment offerings. A core differentiator is iCapital’s partnerships with leading alternative asset managers and top-tier wealth management platforms. In this role, the Product Manager will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Manager to build and manage an evergreen portfolio that includes direct co-investments, funds, and strategic partnerships. This individual will play a critical role in driving the growth of iCapital’s evergreen registered fund business by overseeing key aspects of fund operations, investor relations, marketing, and distribution strategy, among other responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own all aspects of fund operations and business growth, excluding investment decisions and external marketing
  • Oversee marketing initiatives for the fund, including creating and maintaining fundraising presentations, portfolio review materials, quarterly investor call content, and other marketing collateral
  • Partner closely with the Portfolio Manager on the “business of the fund,” managing distributions, liquidity, and communications with current and prospective investors
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with leading distribution platforms in the wealth management channel
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Accounting, Fund Administration, Operations, Investor Relations, Compliance, and Distribution teams to ensure seamless execution across all aspects of the fund
  • Oversee recurring reporting for investors and the Board, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in financial services (e.g., investment management, project management, private investing, investment banking, transaction advisory services, capital markets, management consulting, etc.)
  • Experience with 1940 Act Funds and private markets a plus
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and persuasive messaging
  • Professional demeanor with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CFA, CAIA, or MBA is a plus
