Job Description:

This isn’t a standard PM role and we don’t want a standard PM. At Verse, engineers are deeply product-oriented, and product managers are expected to be analytical, execution-focused leaders who can deeply understand the problems we solve. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a strong team of engineers, designers, and revenue cycle operators who all share a bias for action and a deep sense of mission. We’re hiring our third Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll build the product systems that maximize clean claim rates, accelerate reimbursement, and create financial predictability for our customers. This means deeply understanding Medicare/Medicaid billing rules, commercial payer requirements, denial management workflows, and the operational realities of healthcare billing teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, business operations and legal to deliver impactful and intuitive features at scale
  • Develop product strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities
  • Conduct market research to identify user needs and market trends
  • Define and prioritize product roadmaps
  • Create product requirements and user stories
  • Lead product lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Perform user and stakeholder analysis
  • Develop and track product KPIs, conduct A/B tests and iterate on features to optimize user experiences
  • Drive product innovation by staying informed about trends in the healthtech sector, competitor products, and emerging technologies
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity and visibility

Requirements:

  • 3 - 7 years of Product Management experience preferably in a healthcare environment or digital health
  • Deep understanding of product management practices, including market research, ideation, user testing, and agile development
  • Experience working directly with engineers, designers, data analysts/scientists to solve multi-faceted problems to drive business value for internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences that improve the lives of in-home patients and support healthcare partners
  • Working knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Strong empathy, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, research and analytical skills to inform product decisions

Nice to have:

Preferred: experience with SQL, design tools, ticketing tools (Jira, Linear), A/B testing, and prototyping
