Job Description:

iCapital is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Product Manager to join our Client Architecture Solutions team. This role requires a deep understanding of the U.S. wealth management industry and how technology enables the scalable distribution of alternative investment products. You will work in a collaborative, results-driven environment alongside smart, hardworking teammates who are motivated to solve complex, industry-wide challenges. You will partner directly with end users and clients to drive scale and efficiencies across key business processes. In this role, you will own, lead, and deliver strategic product initiatives, providing oversight across the product development lifecycle. You will define and influence your domain—from identifying unmet needs and defining requirements to writing user stories, developing communication plans, and testing product features. We embrace agile methodologies and deploy quickly to learn and iterate. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and brings a flexible, multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and define the product vision and roadmap for key WealthTech platform capabilities
  • Lead strategic client engagements to deploy integrated technology solutions and ensure successful adoption across advisor desktops
  • Partner with executive stakeholders (internal and external) to align on product direction, priorities, and strategic initiatives
  • Drive platform usage and adoption by delivering solutions that meet user needs and enhance platform stickiness
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including requirements definition, user stories, acceptance criteria, QA, and iteration
  • Ensure flawless execution of product releases by proactively managing risks, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination
  • Investigate production issues and drive both tactical and strategic resolutions to minimize user impact
  • Partner closely with UX, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment and transparency across initiatives
  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning

Requirements:

  • 8 - 12+ years of product management experience
  • Significant exposure to WealthTech, fintech, alternative investments, or wealth management platforms
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. wealth management ecosystem and advisor technology landscape
  • Strong experience working with large datasets
  • SQL proficiency and a data-driven decision-making approach are required
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced growth environments
  • Experience engaging directly with external clients and executive stakeholders to define requirements and deliver strategic implementations
  • Expertise in writing detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
  • Experience operating within agile development methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
What we offer:
  • Equity for all full-time employees
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Employer matched retirement plan
  • Generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling
