As a Product Manager, within the Banking Consulting Group, the person will be responsible across the stages of the Product Lifecycle – Requirement & product design review, Update Terms and Conditions, Customer onboarding, Customer impact assessment, client communication and manage customer queries post implementation. This person should be a subject matter expert in Payments, domain with 6 - 10 years of experience, having worked on Product Management function. This person will work closely with Client Business, Corporate / Retail customers and internal development team.
Job Responsibility:
Interacting with across business owners within bank, product development teams, product vendors, other applications owners, external customers and internal customers to identify requirements and deliver those within stipulated timelines
Provide content leadership in working with the clients in defining solutions to their business requirements
Agree the engagement outcomes for the client
Responsible for leading High Level Business & Project Review Meetings for Payments system modernization/transformation
Interacting with business stakeholders for requirements review and design
Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution
Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood
Translating the design into customer facing document and manage the customer queries
Work on Terms & Conditions, Customer impact assessment
Requirements:
6-10 years of experience in Payments and Product Management
Expertise in customer onboarding and stakeholder engagement
8+ years of Industry experience in BFSI domain with a focus on Cards & Payments Domain experience in Low Value Payments (SCT & SEPA Instant), High Value Payments, Cross Border Payments, VISA scheme and key regulations (PSD 2)
Experience of working on SWIFT ISO messages, Faster Payments Services, Instant Payments
Good understanding of the global Payments Landscape, associated instruments (Direct Debits/Direct Credits) and key players for both Retail & Wholesale payments
8+ years of Payments experience and Product Management
Expertise in Messaging Schemas, and Message formats
Experience on Cards & Payments solutions
Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customers
