Job Description:

Role is responsible for Valvoline Global Operations product portfolio in Middle East Africa including Saudi Arabia. The Portfolio Manager has four main pillars of responsibility: 1. Product/Portfolio Costing, 2. Product Profitability Review & Improvement, 3. Supply Chain Optimization and SMOG Inventory Management and 4. Product Lifecycle Data Management

Job Responsibility:

  • Product/Portfolio Costing: serve as the single point of contact for all business units relative to current costing of all portfolio items
  • High impact bid costing owner: drive the high impact bid costing process for the region
  • Innovation network analysis: aid in costing of new materials
  • Profit Improvement Opportunities: Actively and continually seek ways to optimize margin
  • SKU Rationalization & Product Lifecycle Management: Own, monitor, and recommend product life cycle
  • Review and Manage SMOG inventory in coordination with Supply Chain
  • Review, update, maintain and manage SAP data related to the Portfolio

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master of Business Administration (preferred)
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Strong analytical thinking and business mindset
  • Ability to pull, assess, and conceptualize key data
  • An inquisitive thirst to learn more
  • Team oriented, with strong communication abilities
  • Passion for continually improving recommendations and optimizations
