Job Description:

We are seeking a Product Manager on a contract basis to join our wider Content Supply Technology (CST) product team. This role will focus on the build, rollout and support of the SDVI Rally platform for content processing and delivery as part of ITV’s Content Supply Simplification transformation programme. As a Product Manager, you will lead a cross-functional engineering team, responsible for building, running, and integrating products that manage media processing and delivery of our content assets. Your primary focus will be on delivering value to ITV by understanding problems, defining solutions, and managing the product backlog and roadmap. You will work closely with business and operational stakeholders, software engineers, business analysts, solutions architects and suppliers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the ongoing product roadmap as part of the wider team, prioritising features based on the agreed sequence for the rollout and support of SDVI Rally within M&E
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog to align with strategic goals, ensuring features are validated and built efficiently
  • Work closely with other product managers in related and adjacent domains on shared objectives
  • Build, maintain and improve relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working on a content supply chain within the media and entertainment industry, processing media for linear and VOD services
  • Familiarity with video and Access Services terminology
  • An understanding of content processing, packaging and delivery workflows for streaming services
  • Experience in product management or a related field such as analysis or delivery
  • Qualifications in a technical field or practical experience working with technical teams would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
  • Experience building software products or integrating with SaaS products, and prioritising competing objectives to gain consensus

Nice to have:

  • SDVI Rally experience would be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations and reports tailored to diverse audiences
  • Ability to define problem statements with excellent attention to detail
