Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to scale the product efforts and overall technical strategy for the Integrity team. The ideal candidate has prior experience solving complex forms of scaled abuse, building sophisticated protections across multiple parts of OpenAI’s product suite (ChatGPT, API, Sora). This role requires close collaboration with our product, safety, policy, user operations and engineering teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Build tooling for AI-forward investigation of malicious users
  • Develop infrastructure for the incubation of detection of novel misuse of OpenAI’s services
  • Lead full stack systems to prevent violations of OpenAI’s usage policies
  • Use data to better understand user needs and guide future product development
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including teams in product, finance, operations and engineering

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management or related industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
  • Proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide the team through key milestones
  • World-class communication and collaboration skills in working with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with proven communication abilities

  • Partner closely with security engineers, red teams, AI researchers, and integrity analysts to translate emerging attack patterns, abuse signals, and novel harm vectors into durable, productized protections
  • Integrate AI integrity and security capabilities with Microsoft’s broader ecosystem, including Defender (threat detection and response), Entra (identity and access control), and Purview (data protection, governance, and compliance)
