The Azure Deployments team is looking for a Product Management IC3 to shape the future of how developers—inside and outside Microsoft—build and deploy Azure infrastructure. We own Azure’s flagship open-source "infrastructure-as-code" (IaC) tooling, including the Bicep language, Azure’s Terraform support (Azure Resource Manager [AzureRM] and Azure Application Programming Interface [AzAPI] providers), and the internal deployment orchestrators that power Azure at scale.
Job Responsibility:
Define and drive product requirements by translating customer needs, insights, and business goals into clear, actionable specifications
Partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on time and aligned with product strategy
Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to validate scenarios, gather feedback, and represent the voice of the customer
Use data, telemetry, and customer signals to measure feature adoption, identify opportunities, and guide product decisions
Manage feature execution end-to-end, from planning and prioritization through launch, documentation, and post-release iteration
Communicate status, risks, and decisions effectively to maintain alignment across teams and ensure shared understanding of product direction
Contribute to long-term product vision and roadmap, supporting the development of multi-release plans and strategic investments
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
