Job Description:

The Enterprise Cloud team at M365 Core IDC is at the forefront of innovation, building products that drive standardization and enable secure, compliant, and scalable cloud platforms. Examples of such products include a multi-agent platform for service buildout, Deployment-as-a-Service, and more. Notably, our team ideated and built the M365 OB Release and M365 Gating products entirely from scratch at IDC — these have now become foundational components, adopted by every service within the Experiences + Devices (E+D) division. We are looking for Product Manager to join the Microsoft 365 Core Engineering team to help our customers get the most value out of Microsoft 365. A successful candidate will have a passion for being a product person. As a Product Manager II for ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control), you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of ABAC features and experiences across Microsoft 365. The team has a strong focus on leveraging AI to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative access control solutions. You will partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI-native product capabilities that meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers in high-compliance environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own a customer problem area within ABAC, from problem definition and PRD/roadmap to execution with engineering and launch/landing with customers and field
  • Define and deliver ABAC features: Translate customer/regulatory needs into platform features and guidance, partnering across product groups and stakeholders (e.g., Azure, Security, Compliance)
  • Drive AI-forward product innovation: Embed AI as a core competency in product design and user experience. Move from static specs to rapid experimentation and model-first thinking, applying AI actively in day-to-day workflows
  • Ensure compliance and security: Work with security and compliance teams to ensure ABAC features meet regulatory and customer requirements
  • Drive cross-team collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and field teams to deliver end-to-end scenarios and support customer enablement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or software development, with at least 2 years in security, compliance, or AI/ML domains
  • Proven experience in multiple software product development methodologies
  • Effective cross-group collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Nice to have:

  • Experience with RBAC, or enterprise security/compliance solutions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, or highly regulated environments
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with data scientists or engineering teams on AI/ML-powered features
  • Track record of driving AI-first product initiatives and measurable business impact
