This person will serve as a product expert owning the systems and workflows that connect marketing touchpoints, conversion signals, attribution logic, and downstream reporting & optimization use cases.

  • Ability to work effectively with engineering, data operations, data science, and marketing teams on technically complex products.
  • Strong analytical orientation, with the ability to use data to make decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and drive alignment without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, roadmaps, and execution plans.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of aligning stakeholders across technical and business functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • High ownership mindset, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves, navigate ambiguity with limited guidance, solve problems hands-on, and drive cross-functional work to completion.
  • Strong user empathy and ability to apply user-centric thinking to complex platform and data product challenges.
  • Passion for Uber's mission, marketplace complexity, and hybrid technology/operations environment.

Nice to have

  • Technical background in data engineering, data science, or related data system, proficient in SQL and/or Python
  • Experience building marketing attribution, incrementality measurement, conversion tracking, data ingestion, or marketing data platform products.
  • Experience building internal or B2B products.
