iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to help develop our newest product offering, Identity Solutions. You will be working in a collaborative, results-driven environment with smart and hardworking teammates who are motivated to solve fun and complex industry-wide problems concerning Know Your Client regulatory requirements, Anti-Money Laundering screening and the alternatives investment onboarding experience. You will be working directly with end users and clients to bring security, scale and efficiencies across highly sensitive business processes. You will own, lead and deliver technology solutions with direct oversight of product building. Job Responsibility:
Lead engagement with end users and clients to identify and deliver solutions to core functional areas and user experiences
Define product requirements by writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for software engineers
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product feature development from conception to launch, including testing and iteration
Embrace a fast-paced, agile development environment, deploying quickly to learn and iterate based on feedback
Test and review online product upgrades and ensure flawless execution
Own the product roadmap for specific features or segments of the platform, determining prioritization and ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within scope
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align product vision and strategy
Develop and maintain comprehensive project communication plans, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams such as UX Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and other product lines
Investigate bugs and, when appropriate, identify tactical solutions to production issues impacting users
Monitor the performance of product features post-launch and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team to maintain high standards of work, product quality, and communication
Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape from a business and legal / compliance perspective
Step outside the product realm when appropriate to contribute to the team and overall company mission
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, preferably within fintech, wealth management, or related industries
Strong analytical skills, natural problem solver, with a proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems and pushing initiatives to conclusions through innovative solutions
Expertise with QA testing, comfort with leveraging SQL, and ability to generate conclusions based on data
Proven track record of managing technical teams and projects, organizing requests and prioritizing
Detail-oriented, with the ability to write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
Strong interpersonal skills and capable of building relationships to gain buy in and achieve business results
A willingness and initiative to become an expert in the alternative investments space, understanding both the product intricacies and wider industry to drive informed decision making
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, entrepreneurial environment
Experience with agile methodologies and a mindset that embraces quick deployment, learning, and iteration
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executive management for ideas and resolutions
A customer-centric approach, with experience engaging directly with clients to gather insights and feedback and a knack for quick and thoughtful problem solving
Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing demands and timelines
Desire to grow and take on increasing responsibilities within a rapidly expanding company
