Job Description:

The Business Systems Product Manager will be responsible for evaluating, prioritizing, estimating, designing and delivering technology enhancements for the custom business systems used by Aria employees to service our customers. They will be responsible for improving internal workflows, supporting new and changing business needs, and maintaining system functionality. The primary focus of this position is the EMR system (NextGen) used by three clinical lines of service and the integrations and custom functionality built around the EMR. Responsibilities will also include other applications and initiatives within the Aria ecosystem including our core Salesforce system.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage incoming change requests
  • Review existing processes and systems to proactively identify workflow improvements with high ROI
  • Recommend thoughtful, creative solutions that deliver functionality and operability
  • Develop functional specifications for prioritized change requests and recommend solution options
  • Work with the development team to design and tests enhancements
  • Complete documentation for user teams and support to ensure a smooth implementation handoff for enhancements
  • Deliver training to super users as appropriate
  • Become a subject matter expert on our Salesforce and NextGen data models, custom application, workflow and integration functionality
  • Provide functional support for business teams and tier 3 technical support for the systems team
  • Create and maintain documentation of Aria custom system components
  • Protect the company by handling sensitive and protected business information with appropriate safeguards and confidentiality
  • Become a subject matter expert on our data model and workflow across all departments and functions
  • Articulate complex workflows and concepts to audiences with varying degrees of technical acumen
  • Communicate effectively and often with key business constituents and within the systems team

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
  • 5+ years Healthcare industry and EMR experience, NextGen experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Solution Architect, Business Analyst or Consultant in a customer facing role
  • Preferred experience with large data models, data architectures, data lakes, AWS environments, and Azure environments
  • Preferred Salesforce platform experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, General Configuration) with an understanding of flows, configurations, and API integrations
  • Preferred experience designing integrations with 3rd party applications & databases
  • Preferred experience in Financial Services/Insurance in addition to Healthcare experience
  • Ability to both work independently with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Analytical Ability - strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Communication - excellent written and oral communications skills, relationship focus, and strong technical and business acumen
  • ability to explain complex topics to a wide range of audiences with empathy, clarity and brevity
  • Project management – can manage and communicate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Planning/organizing — Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
