Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for the generic injectables portfolio from launch planning through to growth, maturation, and rationalisation
Manage relationships with external suppliers, partners and wholesalers to proactively respond to market opportunities
Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, competitor activity, supply constraints, and regulatory changes to advise strategic decisions
Work closely with global sourcing and business development teams to assess opportunities to bring new molecules into ANZ
Conduct market assessments and build business cases for new injectable product introductions
Coordinate with global partners on product selection, timelines, and launch readiness plans
Lead lightweight marketing initiatives, including essential messaging, positioning, and key promotional assets
Contribute to marketing strategy around tenders, wholesaler/distributor opportunities, and state procurement framework
Provide insights and commercial support to sales and field teams
Own the financial performance of the portfolio including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, revenue analysis, and cost control
Produce accurate demand forecasts and work with supply planning teams to manage inventory levels
Partner with supply chain, regulatory, quality assurance, finance, and commercial operations to ensure seamless product availability and performance
Communicate product plans, status, and insights to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
Tertiary degree in Marketing, Business, or a related fields
2-4 years of Marketing/Product Management experience within the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
Experience in market access, tender environments, or wholesaler/distributor engagements
Understanding of Australian pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks and procurement cycles
Experience with market data analytics (e.g., IQVIA or similar tools)
Proficient analytical abilities enabling the interpretation of intricate data for informed decision-making
Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of persuading and involving collaborators across all levels
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive business growth
Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering flawless customer satisfaction
Proven track record to function as part of a high-performing commercial team
Proficiency in working independently while also contributing to a team-oriented setting
Ambitious and proactive approach with a keen interest in innovation and excellence
Ability to work autonomously with a strong drive and determination to succeed.
