We are seeking a commercially driven Product Manager to lead the profitable development of products for our furniture category. This role is responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management—from market insight and product development, to launch, and performance optimization. You will play a pivotal role in aligning product design, pricing, quality, and suppliers to meet customer needs, drive revenue growth, and deliver strong margins. The ideal candidate combines deep product knowledge with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, design-led environment.
Job Responsibility:
Step into the role as a furniture category expert, applying deep product expertise and commercial insight to shape high-impact product solutions
Lead and own the end-to-end product development and in market product lifecycle
Take ownership of the timeline by influencing key stakeholders across teams throughout the development cycle, to ensure all products remain on track, to brief and on time
Act as a specialist for cross-functional teams, driving alignment throughout the development and launch process
Act as the category champion cross functionally, leading projects for your product categories
Own and drive category profitability through the development of commercially successful products that consistently meet margin targets and align with broader business objectives
Influence key stakeholders in commercial decisions that maximize the profitability for all products
Expertise in contract negotiations, with the ability to anticipate and identify potential issues, and provide strategic solutions grounded in a strong understanding of supplier capabilities and commercial levers
Develop a deep understanding of your supplier’s capabilities (e.g. materials, costs, lead times), to ensure alignment with current and future business needs
Be accountable for building professional and long term relationships with suppliers
Lead the supplier negotiations on commercial agreement, trading terms, rebates and payment terms
Manage the relationships and lead the negotiations with existing and new licensing and certification partners
Work alongside the QC team with regards managing supplier due diligence and product quality expectations
Take on tasks and projects outside this core scope as needed to support broader business goals
Requirements:
6–10 years’ experience in product management, preferably in furniture products
Degree qualified in product management, business or other relevant qualification
Good knowledge and understanding of furniture manufacturing and logistics and the cost-drivers connected to that
Solution oriented and strong business acumen
The drive and energy to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to take and execute decisions, with a solid sense of accountability and initiative
High-level attention to detail
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and in a simple way
