Job Description:

At Dropbox, Product Managers drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our evolving suite of products. We lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals, balancing user needs with business priorities to deliver meaningful value at scale. As the Product Manager for Dash Connectors, you will play a critical role in growing the ecosystem of integrations that power Dropbox Dash - our next-generation AI product for workplace search and productivity. You’ll work closely with the Dash team and partner across engineering, design, and GTM functions to build connectors that deliver real customer value. Your focus will be on deeply understanding customer workflows and crafting integration scenarios that reflect the real questions people ask when trying to get work done. You'll lead the development of third-party connectors using APIs and SDKs that sync content, permissions, and activity signals - all optimized for context retrieval, AI grounding, and intelligent tool invocation. We’re looking for someone with strong product thinking, technical curiosity, and a bias for action. You’ll work alongside world-class engineers, TPMs, designers, and stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Security to tackle complex challenges with craft and rigor. In 2025, our mission is to position Dropbox as a hub of innovation - turning content into an essential utility for knowledge and collaboration. Dash connectors are foundational to that strategy, enabling magical and reliable experiences that make work feel effortless.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own with high agency: Take full ownership of capabilities, platforms, and experiments from end to end. Use a hypothesis-driven, growth-minded approach to development. Write product documents, lead cross-functional teams, and manage trade-offs to drive meaningful outcomes
  • Prioritize for impact: Balance short-term wins with long-term foundational work. Build and maintain a product roadmap that consistently delivers high value to customers
  • Understand the customer: Collaborate with design, research, and cross-functional teams to develop a deep understanding of user needs. Use those insights to ensure the product delivers continuous value and improves the user experience
  • Drive results: Navigate execution challenges with a focus on outcomes. Make strategic trade-offs, forecast resource needs, manage risks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure successful roadmap delivery

Requirements:

  • At least 5-8+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, API-first, or integration-focused environments
  • Proven track record of delivering successful product outcomes from concept through launch
  • Technical fluency and domain expertise in building search and AI-powered integrations
  • Strong sense of ownership and initiative, with the ability to drive outcomes from end to end
  • Deep customer empathy with a clear understanding of both internal and external user needs
  • Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • able to listen well, build alignment, and drive key decisions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple stakeholder relationships

Nice to have:

  • Experience building and scaling integrations across multiple APIs, SDKs, and developer platforms
  • Strong background in data ingestion systems, including schema mapping, sync strategies, and content pipelines
  • Solid understanding of connector security, permissions, and data privacy best practices
  • Familiarity with GenAI and workplace search use cases, including context retrieval, tool calling, and semantic indexing
What we offer:
  • Competitive medical, dental and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings through a defined contribution pension or savings plan
  • Flexible PTO/Paid Time Off, paid holidays, Volunteer Time Off, and more
  • Income Protection Plans: Life and disability insurance
  • Business Travel Protection: Travel medical and accident insurance
  • Perks Allowance to be used on what matters most to you
  • Parental benefits including: Parental Leave, Fertility Benefits, Adoptions and Surrogacy support, and Lactation support
