Job Description:

Acorns is seeking a Product Manager to help shape and scale the core customer experience. You will be the architect of journeys across investing, banking, and money movement, directly influencing how millions of Americans save and grow their money. This role requires a builder who takes full ownership of strategic outcomes, possesses the analytical rigor to back up every decision, and has a deep empathy for the customer's financial journey.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive Strategic Outcomes: Own the roadmap for core experience workstreams, ensuring every initiative is tied to measurable goals like customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value
  • Lead Customer Discovery: Use data analysis and customer research to identify high-impact opportunities, solving deep-seated financial friction points with simple solutions
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Execution: Lead a dedicated pod of engineering, design, and analytics partners to guide products through the entire lifecycle—from ideation to post-launch optimization
  • Execute Experiment Plans: Move beyond shipping features to solving problems. You will design and run robust experiment plans, using results to iterate and find the best path forward for our customers
  • Manage Agile Delivery: Drive the end-to-end agile lifecycle with precision. You are responsible for maintaining a high-velocity, iterative delivery rhythm that translates your roadmap into high-quality software
  • Simplify the Complex: Take complex financial concepts and turn them into intuitive, educational journeys that empower customers to take the right actions for their future

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, specifically within consumer-facing mobile applications or fintech
  • Outcome-Oriented Mindset: A track record of taking a strategic goal and delivering a product that successfully moved the needle on key business metrics
  • Analytical Prowess: Ability to dive into data to find insights, define success metrics, and use those findings to defend and prioritize your roadmap
  • Collaborative Leadership: Experience leading agile teams and navigating the trade-offs between speed, scope, and quality while aligning stakeholders behind a common vision
  • Communication Excellence: The ability to distill complex concepts into clear, "plain English" narratives that excite both customers and internal team members
  • Hunger to deliver game-changing products
  • Exceptional drive and precision in delivery
  • A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission
  • Optimistic about the potential of societal change
What we offer:
  • Competitive salary and stock options
  • A comprehensive benefits package for you and your family
  • Flexible work location, hours, and paid time off
  • 401(k) matching
  • Monthly Acorns account contribution & GoHenry account for your family
  • Mindfulness and Financial Wellness resources, Headspace and Addition Wealth
  • Acorns Career Development Program (Ongoing training sessions, development plans, development check-ins, Cornerstone’s online training platform)
  • Roots Leadership Program for Emerging Leaders
  • Community week onsite gatherings and various virtual events
