It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world’s relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with a full stack team (engineers, designers, researchers, data scientists, operations, customer support) to deliver experiences that drive adoption of Cash App as a primary banking platform
  • Create & execute on strategy to help customers pay their most important bills from Cash App, including rent, utilities, and loans
  • Continue accelerating banking inflows to Cash App, including through direct deposit, paper money deposit, check deposit
  • Work with different product teams to weave banking experiences into the broader Cash App ecosystem

Requirements

  • Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving
  • Able to deeply understand financial, risk, and customer experience considerations
  • Comfort with ambiguity coupled with the ability to independently solve problems without well-defined direction
  • Highly preferred: Experience working in a high growth consumer business, whether FinTech or other
