Job Description

As a Product Manager on the Approvals Platform team, you will shape the systems that power Zip’s most critical workflows – from approval configuration and routing logic to the most visited surfaces (dashboards, workflow diagrams, etc.) in the product.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive development across the entire breadth of the Approvals Platform, building an enterprise-grade core and a simple, flexible experience that teams can adopt and reuse
  • Collaborate deeply with engineering and design to define requirements, provide product direction, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality platform capabilities and UX
  • Conduct structured product discovery, including stakeholder interviews, competitive research, data analysis, and usability reviews
  • Test, validate, and measure success of platform improvements using well-defined metrics and feedback from early adopters

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of product management and 4-8+ years of overall professional experience
  • experience working with SaaS platforms is a plus
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured components and develop clear recommendations
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across engineering, design, sales, customer teams, and partner teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and level of detail to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
