Job Description

We're looking for a Product Manager to own a new enterprise product that enables companies to build, deploy, govern, and orchestrate AI agents at scale. This is one of the largest bets Vercel is making in an exciting, fast moving space. No platform has nailed this yet, and the timing is now. This is a 0-to-1 role. You'll take the product from design partners to GA, defining how Fortune 500 companies build their AI agents on Vercel. Within 12 months, you'll have taken this from concept to paying Enterprise customers. The product packages Vercel's existing AI primitives (AI SDK, AI Gateway, Sandbox, Workflows, v0) into a unified platform with orchestration, observability, and enterprise governance. The goal: every function in a company (Sales, HR, Engineering, Data, Finance) can build, deploy, and govern agents through one secure platform. This is a horizontal role that cuts across nearly every team at Vercel. You'll work directly with Engineering, Design, Sales, and executive leadership to ship a product that defines a new category.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap from first design partner through GA and beyond
  • Define how enterprises create, test, deploy, and manage AI agents on Vercel's infrastructure
  • Design the governance and security layer that gives CIOs visibility and control over agent proliferation
  • Define packaging, pricing, and the commercial model, then validate it with enterprise buyers
  • Work with the v0 and AI teams at Vercel to make agent creation accessible to non-technical users
  • Define the integration and connector strategy for enterprise SaaS ecosystems
  • Drive the design partner program: identify candidates, onboard them, synthesize feedback, and iterate rapidly
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to build the enterprise sales motion

Requirements

  • You've done 0-to-1 product launches in enterprise or infrastructure
  • You're biased toward speed and shipping
  • Engineering background (ex-engineer, technical founder, or CS degree)
  • You understand developers deeply
  • You have a high level mental model for AI agents: tool use, orchestration, multi-step reasoning, model routing
  • You've sold to or worked closely with enterprise buyers (CIO, VP Eng, Head of Platform)
  • You're an exceptional cross-functional operator

Nice to have

  • You've been a founder or early employee at a startup (especially one selling to enterprises)
  • You have experience with platform products where you set patterns other teams build on
  • You've worked on products involving identity, security, or compliance in enterprise contexts

What we offer

benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program

  • Comfortable in technical conversations about APIs, data models, system resilience, and failure modes. Can read a spec, sketch a flow, and have a real opinion about the design
  • Shipped product in a technical surface area (platform, integration, data, developer-facing, or AI-native) and have had to make hard calls about what to expose, what to abstract, and what to deprecate
  • Think about onboarding and time-to-value as product problems, not marketing or services ones
  • Done real discovery: spent time with users, found the underlying pattern, wrote it up in a way that drove a decision
  • Can hold a clear point of view and update it cleanly when the evidence moves
Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Work on the surfaces that every Akeneo customer touches: the onboarding experience, the customer-facing control plane, the agentic and AI-native experiences we're building into the product, and the data-orchestration layer that ties everything together
  • Customer onboarding - get every new customer from contract signed to products live and selling in their channels in days
  • The customer control plane - the cross-cutting surface customers use to see what's happening across all their activation channels and to steer it
  • Agentic and AI-native experiences - determine what it looks like when an agent quietly handles the boring 80% of activation work
  • Data orchestration - shape how that flow is modelled, monitored, and recovered when it goes wrong
  • The APIs underneath - have opinions on what's a first-class API, what's a private implementation detail, and what the contract with the outside world looks like
