Job Description

As a Product Manager, Ad Units at KERV, you will own the strategy and execution for all interactive ad units across banner, online video, CTV, and emerging channels. You will guide the roadmap for KERV interactive formats, from core video units to companion and second screen experiences, ensuring they drive performance for advertisers while protecting and enhancing the viewer experience. You will work closely with the Director of Product, Ad Products, and partner with engineering, design, ad operations, sales, data, and client success to ship high quality ad experiences that scale across platforms and partners. This includes defining new ad formats, iterating on existing units, and ensuring that KERV ad experiences remain differentiated and industry leading.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for KERV interactive ad units across web, CTV, and other platforms
  • Manage the full product lifecycle including requirements, prioritization, release, and GTM planning
  • Partner with engineering, design, and ad operations to develop scalable ad unit architectures
  • Collaborate with Ad Tech and Ad Integrations teams to ensure alignment across delivery and measurement workflows
  • Work with sales, account management, and client success to gather advertiser and publisher insights
  • Track industry standards and emerging interactive formats to inform roadmap direction
  • Define baseline and success metrics
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, policy, and IAB guidelines
  • Support go to market planning including sales enablement and launch materials
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on KERV interactive ad units

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of product management experience, preferably in ad tech, digital media, or programmatic advertising with direct experience working on ad units, ad formats, or ad experiences
  • Strong understanding of video and display ad formats across web and streaming environments including VAST, VPAID, and emerging interactive specifications
  • Experience working with ad serving technologies, SSPs, DSPs, and creative management or dynamic creative platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and roadmap, make tradeoffs, and deliver products in close partnership with engineering, design, and operations teams
  • Comfort using data to guide decisions with experience analyzing performance metrics, running experiments, and forming hypotheses to improve engagement and monetization
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product decisions and influence stakeholders across technical and non technical teams
  • Curiosity about the future of interactive advertising and a passion for building ad experiences that respect users while delivering business impact
