As a Product Manager at Lam, you play a crucial role in defining the strategy, roadmap, and features of the product. You are both strategic and tactical. You will span the entire product life cycle, from definition and planning to production release, upgrades, and end-of-life. Your leadership skills will be vital in ensuring cross-functional collaboration across different departments to drive the success of the portfolio of products.
Job Responsibility
Define the strategy, roadmap, and features of the product
Span the entire product life cycle, from definition and planning to production release, upgrades, and end-of-life
Lead cross-functional collaboration across different departments
Act as consolidator of product roadmap/strategy/vision
Drive product vision into projects/programs
Define implementation strategy for product enhancements, improvements and fixes
Accountable for Product Lifecycle Management overall
EPL – stakeholder of the Program Priority List
Define and communicate the product offered for sale through the Product Option Architecture(POA) system
Manage unreleased product proliferation
Define & manage E/OCOGS financial reserve fund
Review and disposition PR’s in iPLM, BOM change orders, and NSR’s
Communicate across Lam and with customer known product issues
Lead Safety issue CFTs
Monitor, report & manage cost of products
Identify opportunities and drive changes to achieve Shift Left gains
Requirements
Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
or 8 years and a Master’s degree
or a PhD with 5 years experience
or equivalent experience
Familiarity with architecture & management of highly configurable products and assemblies
Minimum 5+ years applicable experience
previous experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry preferred
Familiarity with fluid or gas delivery systems is a plus
Supervisory or management experience preferred
Nice to have
