Job Description:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help take Retake AI, our next-generation AI-powered video editing app — to the next level of scale. As a Product Manager, you’ll drive the evolution of key product areas, from ideation to launch, focusing on growth, retention, and creative excellence. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, data, and AI research teams to build intuitive and intelligent tools that empower users to edit, enhance, and transform their videos effortlessly. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully scaled consumer-facing mobile products, preferably in video or photo editing, creative tools, or AI-driven apps, and is eager to push the boundaries of what creators can do on mobile.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive the product roadmap for core feature areas or verticals within Retake, defining what we build, when, and why
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, designers, data teams, growth, and marketing to deliver user-focused solutions that improve retention, engagement, and monetization
  • Run and prioritize experiments and tests to validate hypotheses and optimize user funnel metrics
  • Use data & qualitative feedback to identify product gaps and opportunities
  • track success metrics and adjust course as needed
  • Translate complex AI technologies into simple, intuitive experiences that empower everyday users
  • Partner with UX/design to ensure delight and usability
  • with engineering to ensure feasible and high-quality delivery
  • with growth/marketing to ensure go-to-market success
  • Present findings and progress to senior leadership, making recommendations and influencing product direction
  • Mentor more junior PMs where relevant, helping grow the product function

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within mobile consumer apps
  • Demonstrated ability to drive user engagement, retention, growth, or monetization in products with substantial user bases
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills: experience working closely with engineering, design, data, growth, etc.
  • Good product sense and strategic thinking: you can balance long-term vision and short-term execution
  • Experience with experimentation, analytics, and using data to guide decisions
  • Passion for consumer products, user experience, and applied AI
  • Strong communication skills, capacity to influence across teams and to senior stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with video processing technologies, real-time rendering, or generative AI
  • Prior experience launching or scaling mobile apps to tens of millions of users
  • A personal or professional background in photography, videography, imaging, or digital creativity
  • Hands-on experience using AI editing tools or working alongside AI research teams
